Sometimes I will jam out to some truly maudlin Lite Fm songs.
Do you have any Lite FM guilty pleasures? Admit it, it's OK!
Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do) - Christopher Cross
Torn Between Two Lovers - Mary McGregor
If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot
Magic - Olivia Newton-John
We Just Disagree - Dave Mason
I Love You Always Forever - Donna Lewis
Glory of Love - Peter Cetera
Stuck on You - Lionel Richie
Always - Atlantic Starr
Some may find these nauseating. Let the haters hate, there are some good melodies here.

Haha.. I fell prey to Sheryl Crow's "First Cut is the Deepest"... I worked at Century 21 and they played the same mixed cd every day... by the end of week 1.. i was singing it in my sleep. love it... only slightly ashamed to admit it.
ReplyDeleteOk, I will forever ever and ever hate Always. Why, you may ask? Because I was stuck in a wedding of my mom's friend as a junior bridesmaid at 8 years old and that was her wedding song. I HATED IT. And still do. However, I have a soft spot in the place where my heart should be for any Gordon Lightfoot song. I feel guilty about that because he's a wifebeater.
ReplyDeleteI was raised on Celine Dion and Michael Bolton, and they will always hold space on the ipod. How Can We Be Lovers is most definitely my jam. and damn that Lionel Richie and his "Hello?"
ReplyDeleteOh man, i also suffered from working retail and listening to the same easy listening mix on repeat day after day. When The Girl from Iponima gets in your head, it refuses to leave!
ReplyDeleteVery cool catching these again. It's been awhile.
