I've discovered Wolf Saga (aka Johnny Saga) after hearing his (along with vocalist Lemon.) synthy, sans-whistling cover of Peter Bjorn & John's 2006 single "Young Folks."
His cover of M83's "Midnight City" is pretty sweet.
Also check Wolf Saga's drum-heavy but bubbly remix of Daft Punk & Panda Bear's "Doin' It Right."
The mix of Iggy Azalea improves upon the original.
